Text Box: Attend a Board of Directors Meeting All meetings of the Board are open meetings. Residents are encouraged to attend meetings and to participate with the Board of Directors. Some suggestions for Residents wishing to bring issues before the Board: • Put it in writing - write down your suggestion or issue and send/fax it to our Property Manager at Comanco. This will allow the Board to research your issue and come to the meeting prepared. Let the Property Manager know that you are attending the Board meeting and would like to reserve time on the agenda. • Plan your remarks to last no longer than 5 minutes. The Board’s meeting agenda is usually very full, so a 5 minute limit allows all business to be conducted. If your issue requires more time, the Board will either schedule a special meeting or add it to the next meeting agenda. • Don’t expect an immediate response. The Board members do not act independently and issues generally require investigation, discussion and a vote.
